What's the volume like in the mausoleum? Do you have to play kinda quiet to not get washed out or do you blast your ass to get the huge reverb?

It doesn't matter.
You can whistle and it sounds cool, or you can play loud. The decay on the bass frequebcies is crazy long so you can get some uncomfortable resonances with volume that you have to control, but that's part of the fun.
