That sounds awesome!
I was actually quite surprised how the little tiny amp sounded through the 1x12 cab. It had a great sounding drive to it, and when I put the reverb in front of it, it was like the perfect little solid state guy. I found smallish amp chasis on Ebay for $30, but at the same time a 1590DD would also do the trick... Maybe when I get some funds together I'll make one up for myself

I thought about using a Hammond box as my chassis, so that if you wanted just a head, you unbolted the box and then slide it out of the combo.

yeah dude. It's a really smart plan. Cause then you'd already have the bottom of the enclsoure for it too, to seal it off!

yeah, the only downside I can see is, from how I was designing it, either you have to make it possible to get in there to underneath (so that the "top" of the amp is the main box, and the cover is the bottom.) Or you flip that whole thing upside down, and then the chassis is upside-down relative to how we normally use pedals.
To get around all that, I decided just to have the bottom cover on so it's always sealed up and has better EMF shielding, and then just use the semi-closed-back of the cabinet as a plate to hold the chassis into "rails" in the cabinet. Should work.

Yeah, and you could always make the face of the amp recessed back/flush into the sides to make the front of the lip that the enclosure could fit into as well!

I hope everyone had a good holiday!
I got the fresh DFX9 for Fungal in on Monday. Going to swap out the DC jack tonight for a standard boss style, as well as move the trimpots to the outside and ship it out tomorrow.

Also going out tomorrow will be Mathias' enclosure to Dan for etching.
After I finish modding the DFX9 tonight I'm going to drop the booster into the WSG and poke around some more. I've come to the conclusion that it is something on the WSG PCB that is causing the huge volume drop. Going to see what I can do.
Parts also came in for Behndy's volume box, so I'll probably drill that while I'm at it.
Lastly, I've got a DIRGE Triangle Muff for sale. I had put it together for myself, but I'm going to make a Civil War Muff that I'll use instead. I modded it for more volume. I really like how CLEAR the fuzz is with the Triangle Muff. It gets nice and whooly too. (3 knobber in back, blue LED)
$80 shipped

Mathia's enclosure has been etched and should be sent back shortly for construction
Foomanfat's enclosure for his Tone Machine has been drilled and will be sent to Dan today
Behndy's enclosure should be en-route back to me soon for construction
Going to put sockets in a fuzz face board for DeltaPhoenix
Going to add a pregain and some other goodies to the muff that I'll be sending him
A few things to fix are coming from the_carl
I'm still stumped on the WSG and I feel bad about it...
I built up a Stampede SS Vintage OscilloFuzz last night. Just volume and oscillation. Think Gloom Drive with MORE sustain, richer fuzz with a bit of a bloom/vintage edge to it (thanks to some germanium diode action). The oscillation doesn't really start until about 1 o'clock on the knob, but it can go from synthy glitching with some extreme subsonics to full out squealing oscillation and once you dime the knob it gets to be this immoble squarewave drone that is interesting to fight against. Thinking about making a prototype of a full germanium version in the next few weeks to see how it compares.
