No good man! A big part of the reason I'm trying to get so much exercise in is it helps me sleep so much better and longer. You got some other stress going on, or just having too much fun?
Eh, a combination of things. My work week is insanely long - 80+ hours. On top of that my relationship isn't going that great, so I'm sort of like half checked out emotionally, and starting to be interested in someone else, but still feeling like I need to give this one more of a chance since we have been together so long. So I'm in this weird in between state. I've already brought that up in the Spite etc. thread. Despite some serious talks with my girlfriend nothing has changed so I don't think it's going to work out.
I've been working out a lot - whenever things aren't looking great I invest a lot of effort in positive things so that I come out the other side better. Unfortunately sleep is a little trickier because it isn't like
doing something - it's
not doing things. Especially since I have never been great with sleep to begin with.

Started doing Insanity again after finishing Jim Stopanni's Shortcut to Size program. Man that thing made me strong. Seriously strong. My cardio is weak now though. LOL!

A month later and this is still true, with this thread a daily reminder of my guilt.

I don't know what those
five finger things are, but not sure THAT kind of exercise is going to help anything but your wrist muscles get in shape

I haven't tried those yet, but it seems to me that they should probably only be used on non-concrete surfaces. Isn't the theory that "we didn't evolve to wear shoes and our ancestors didn't wear fancy running shoes either" ? Our ancestors didn't have sidewalks and were lucky to live to age 30 or whatever too. Just sayin

For those of you who use them, do they work out for you? I mean, your joints aren't getting messed up? Just curious, because I have to wear stability running shoes so that my knees and ankles don't get fucked up when I run, since I run on sidewalks.

I use the new balance minimus/and brooks pure connect/ to get used to them I started with the nike huarache free runners
They work very well
keep you from heel striking
and my ankles and knees have actually improved because I have to use them the way they were intented
it does take an adjustment and a slow down for a while in order to adjust but well worth it

no I hurt it at basketball
the court we play at has walls really close to the baseline and I end up crashing into them more than I should
I gotta find a way to play at lower impact so it doesn't mess me up for working out for a few days after.

As of this morning, I have lost 50 lbs since last November. The past 2 months I haven't really been able to work out or east as I would like, but I must still be doing something right, just controlled intake. What sucks is I got a gym membership and the next week I was offered 12 more hours at work, pretty much my only free time I could have worked out got filled up >_<

Completed the 31 mile bike ride last weekend with my fiance and my mom! It was definitely a tough one, but we were all able to finish. On the left is Ashley, my fiance's best friend who has CF which we did the bike ride for, along with her boyfriend. Followed by me, my fiance, and my mom
