Very cool...not a bad idea. I do find myself using the neck or middle position most often, I rarely use the bridge in my JM :chin scratchy:

Holy shit, that guitar is hot. Telemaster with Bigsby is very suitable for the Dr. Scientist lineup.

I had never actually played a Jazzmaster or a Telecaster (weird, right?) so I was just sort of guessing, but I figured that I would never use the bridge of a JM or the neck of a Tele, so it just sort of made sense for me to combine them. Luckily, I guess right, and this thing is a lot of fun. Beautiful Jazzmaster neck pickup for clean sounds, Tele for country to rock to whatever for versatility, and then combining the two of them is a whole new beast. I love it. You get the nice rich JM tones, but the sparkle and clarity of a Tele. I have a feeling I'll be using the middle position a LOT haha. Thanks though!

Source of my towels, or source of the guitar?
I got the guitar from Guitar Mill in Murfreesboro, Tennessee though (about 30 minutes from Nashville). I just showed them a crappy mock up that I made, and what I wanted, then they sat down and went through everything with me, and helped make my dream guitar come true. Great guys there. Took a bit longer than they anticipated, but who cares in the long run? Sure it would've been nice to get it for Christmas, but I have my dream guitar now.

Sure thing! What do you want to know? Thanks for the compliments too though!

Haha I thought so too! Thanks though. I've been having trouble setting this thing down ever since I got it!

Cool, Blake, I think you covered all my questions there... again, really cool guitar!
I don't want to flat out ask you what you paid for it since I'm so polite but I'm curious what it cost to basically draw a picture of your dream guitar and then have those guys bring it to life... howsabout a ball-park range or a pm or something!

Anyone compared this to a Fulltone Fat Boost 3? I really like the Cleanness...but the price tag of the Fulltone is a lot more what I can do currently.

I was at a blues jam in early January and someone uploaded a video of one of the tunes I sat in on to facebook. I used just Strat into Cleanness into Super Reverb. The super was set squeaky clean since it was a small place and I couldn't turn up too much, so any boosting or overdrive you hear is all cleanness. It's a bit of a wank-fest, but at least you can hear the cleanness in action.

Really cool video, Garrett! So what's the story there? Are those guys you just met that night? Seems like a fun crowd!
Thanks for posting it!

thanks! that's a restaurant I worked at and they have a blues jam every tuesday night at the bar. whenever I'm home I tend to go and sit in. there are always the "usual" players but often times I'll get put in with people I've never played with before...it's a lot of fun! but yeah, it's totally unrehearsed and just generally a good time!
