I lust after too many things... I'm trying to cut down my list to the reasonable range. I need a compressor, so I'm thinking of asking for the Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone (anyone tried it on bass?) and a good/simple mic preamp. Then a few CDs (Art Brut, Spirit Caravan, Shrinebuilder... I dunno what else - I always freeze up when trying to think of discs I want on the spot) and some books (I need some new good fiction).

Also, I recently won an eBay auction for the guts of a Fender Baja tele (the custom shop pickups, plus S-1 switch and 4-way switch mounted to a control plate), which I plan to fit to my Squier Classic Vibe tele. I realise Royal mail is a) shit and b) extremely busy this time of year, but it'd be awesome to get it this side of Christmas...

If anyone actually wants to buy me a Baja telecaster (either blond or the sweet-ass limited Lake Placid Blue finish) anyway, you're more than welcome, I won't complain. It won't happen though.
