The Life Pedal prices are dumb. I don't know why they did that. It's good enough to release on it's own. I have both versions and two clones. LOL. Get a clone. They are killer too. Easier to get and less money. V2 is not as good as v1 and I don't know why.

Yeah when I saw the normal eqd shaped V2 I thought "oh great they've released is it as part of their lineup maybe I'll get one". Then saw it was still a limited run. Weird! I think it'd be a good seller for them maybe there's some sort of licensing arrangement where it has to be limited

There’s something pretty different in the volume levels of the two pedals. I’m not sure why but if you put the settings 1:1 they don’t match. The v2 has a lot less volume range.

To us they did, but I'm sure the experience from inside of the industry is very different. I mean I love music but I wouldn't really want to work with it in any professional capacity.

Oh this wasn't meant to invalidate or contradict aen's statement at all. Plenty of people create great stuff while not necessarily enjoying all of the process or the industry crapthat comes along with it. I completely believe it must be hard to work in and sympathise. Was just spreading the love.

Even in my very limited experience (not even on the same level as building) it was too much for me. Too much pressure, and I always had issues of some sort with something. NAMM gave me a fucking panic attack like nobodies business, so I'm sure being in the industry in that way would do the same. Everyone seems nice, but yea business.


I love Dwarfcraft pedals but I'm glad Ben and Louise are both going towards personal happiness. That's all that matters at the end of the day. You have to enjoy what you do to some extent.



I honestly think the pedal culture kind of is killing itself. There's too many options and they are all so overwhelming sometimes. LOL. It's funny when a guy like myself says that shit. I've owned so many fucking pedals it's nuts. All varying degrees of complicity. I come back to the ones that are easiest to use and take less frills to sound good.


The coolest thing recently I saw come out was Cooper's new box though. It's cool just to see the cart thing after all these years. When Devi was going to do it, I wasn't into it and was probably a tad too mean there, but now I think it's awesome. That's making complicated shit simple and I dig it. You mean I can have infinite number of pedals and not have to use some massive menu dive that makes no sense? Sign me the fuck up. OR how Ryan has done it with the Atmosphere. That's intuitive and fun. Some shit is overboard however and just confuses the hell out of me and I'm sure most people.

I have a similar sort of thing with simple pedals that sound good. Took a few years to find out but that's what I really like at the end of the day.


hahaha the cartridge thing. I don't think it would be possible to be harsh enough to the devi? It did not go great. I still feel bad for the people who got screwed.

But in terms of the new cooper thing... IDK I like the idea of a generic box that can be loaded with loads of pedals, but I'd rather see it done over USB or a user-rewritable SD card. I understand why Cooper might want to go with cartridges as you can sell more stuff. And that's fair. But as a user I would rather it was direct interface to load with whatever you want.
