Heard good things about the Iron Pig, too. IDK why I've never tried one, I love the supercollider. Also need to get a throat locust.

I feel like either or both the Throat Locust or current version Iron Pig would be ultimate Domvan peds. The both crush in completely different ways.

Straight up, bought one of those for $24 + free shipping, sold it to my pal, and it was what got him back into being a Rat obsessive. They're legitimately good, and any pedal that puts LED clipping diodes on the outside is great in my book.

After reading through this thread I've come to realize that in my 12 years of playing through pedals, not only have I never owned a rat circuit, I have never played one.
I could get some rat-like tones out of the Dr Scientist Elements though.

Agreed! Cat Tail and TAFM make me a happy fella.

Rotten Rat with Ruetz mode and clipping options. (stock/none/LED)
"Red clipping diodes are mounted in the eye socket of the rat skull on the top of the enclosure. "

Didn't you try the bong ripper last year?
IDK. I remember seeing it and hearing it. Dunno if I played it. If I did, it must have been a forgettable affair.
