As far as real goods, it's just hard because we don't have an address right now... I'm trying to think of who's we could use or something. If I think of one I can post it.

And to answer the gear/everything question, yeah absolutely everything. I just want to be a little bit down this path to where we can start putting our life back together, but without a place we can't even do anything.

Out of curiosity: is there any insurance that might help you out a bit in the next months? I mean, there are wildfires every year in California. Is there a standard insurance that saves your ass a bit in case of such an emergency?

Also: I hope you had your digital family photos and so on on a cloud or external HD that was stored elsewhere. Those are a pain to lose!

My aunt and uncle live in Petaluma. Not sure how far that is from you, but I bet they'd be ok with receiving some care packages. I know you've got lots of other things to think about but if this would help you, shoot me a PM and I'll follow up with them.
