I was seeing sub $400 prices out of NYC. Major hub to major hub flights are cheeeeeap(er)

London's fairly expensive in general but I assume we'll be doing the relatively cheap version (which is possible). Beer is not Norway price so all will be well.

Hm, lowest I was seeing was like $515 if I left the Friday before and went back to the US the Saturday after. I'll keep on looking.

Flights to Iceland are also ~$400. I don't get how these are so cheap but damn.

It's usually cheaper if you leave and return in the middle of the week. Also, if you fly with Iceland air, you can make a free stop in Iceland for as long as you want. Visit more cities during your break.

Thursdays are often cheapest iirc.

Cheapest is Tuesday as a general rule. The least busy day of the air travel week.

As far as space there's a spot right around the corner from me that'll do 65 pounds for six hours on a weekend/40 weekday but that's only noon to six which is kinda lame (not the noon part but the six part). Having said that it is literally 5 minutes away from me if I'm blackout stumbling, so this is attractive to me for obvious reasons, but 12-18 is not ideal for late night jamz.

There are a bunch of other spots that are less convenient for my personal laziness but I kinda would like to get a feel for the times people are shooting for as far as space.

I feel it’s better than nothing and rather affordable. So unless you find a place with sweeter hours, this will do.

Also I like that I will get to go to bed at like midnight this way.

I do think 12-18 is poor timing but then it depends what other plans we have and how inconvenient the alternatives are..
