My suggestion would be to keep that in mind when giving.
At the same time, don't spend out of your means
Spend what you feel comfortable with.

i love seeing this every year. hope in the future maybe i can contribute. it made me so excited to see this thread pop up again and i hope that everyone enjoys it as much as i do seeing the gift giving

Maybe it would be an idea to add to the email the people you've already gifted, or just write it here. Kind of a bummer getting the same person twice.

Last year I did some spreadsheet magic to make it work. It's all part of the game of trying to work out who wants domestic/international and trying to make sure people don't just get paired up with each other.
