never came across nightdreams tooth, 2min's in and your pretty relaxed though..
& typing into google for the correct explanation to these chicken sex helmets that made the ship go or somthing i found your answer right off the bat popV, ha...
Dr Jerkoff's ship, which is intended to look like a breast (but looks more like an onion), becomes trapped in an assteroid field. Yup, you guessed it: dozens of stone butts farting in outer space.

The dude that directed NIGHT DREAMS also did a post-apocalyptic porno. CAFE FLESH.

My favorite director ever, my favorite photographer ever, my favorite writer ever, but I don't feel good talking about my obsession with him, I even changed my username because I thought it was too much
Not sure if you've heard yet, but Sven Nykvist passed away just yesterday. Offret is IMO the most visually stunning Tarkovsky movie, and it's because of him

I love you too tremolo3

. We share similar sentiments regarding that great man and true artist.
I did not see Sven passed away, this is very sad

. I'm inclined to agree with you on OFFRET but there are images in THE MIRROR that...do things to me...I don't necessarily know what is happening but I feel 'moved'.
THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY is another one of my favorites (the whole trilogy really; all shot by Sven; WINTER LIGHT is intense too, especially what with the world today).
Back to fantasy req's. How I didn't mention this film is beyond me...if I ever started doing demo videos...they would be a rip off of this film's style.

Paging Snipelfritz.
Wait, shit, was it Snipelfritz? I don't even remember anymore.
Woah! Yeah yeah yeah!!! I fucking love Wizards and Bakshi in general. Coincidentally, I just watched Coonskin earlier tonight.
Also a fantasy film, Bakshi made Fire and Ice with Frank Frazetta. It's a beautiful looking film with a rather forgettable story (very low fantasy), but, to reiterate, fucking gorgeous animation.
If you're looking for balls-to-the-wall cool animated fantasy/sci-fi, Heavy Metal (already mentioned) is fantastic in it's special way. If you like Heavy Metal, follow that up with Rock and Rule.
If you're looking for more of a classic animation style film (no deliciously corny classic rock), check out the unfinished masterpiece Thief and the Cobbler.

What about Giulietta Degli Spiriti? Remember that as quite good and sort of metaphysical in its subject matter. Oh, and L'âge d'Or is worth a watch.
Agreed on Tarkovsky, dude made fantastic films. Think Andrei Rublev is my personal favourite of his.

My memory of that movie is 25% sword fighting, 25% talking, 25% magic and 25% tricking people into having sex so someone will get pregnant.
