Been curious about this for a while now.
Solid shit goes in the toilet. When each of my kids were just on milk and the poops were more liquid, we'd just put them in the bin with the other diapers. We wash a load of exclusively diapers every other day and we have a four day supply.
This exactly.
Straight up have cloth diaper covers. The cloth pieces fold and slide into the cover. Takes minimal time and you can prepare several in advance and then they're just as easy as any diaper.
Pre-solid food you don't need to do a bunch of rinsing. Once poop gets a bit more gnarly that changes.
Listen. My undies are cotton or whatever. Why the fuck am I gonna put my kid in some shitty plastic noisy crystal producing turd catcher? Makes no sense.

I'm not meta enough to get the overall joke of this thread, nor do I fucking care. Cloth diapers are ridiculous and that's fucking that.,
We had twins. We used Luvs because they were almost as cheap as the BJ's house brand and a thousand times better. Look, I get the whole environment thing, but it was 2007 and I feel that modern convenience owned me a thing or two and that included not fucking with shit filled rags.

We tried a majority of the brands out there. Boutique and cheap. The Costco Kirkland brand worked best. Target second.

You need to listen to the ILF podcast between myself, invisible man and johnny angle. Sheds some light on the subject matter.
I'm really not sure that the convienence of disposable diapers is that much greater than cloth. I do more laundry and you make more trash.
Anybody that complains about picking up poop from a cloth diaper or whatever better be pet free. Y'all motherfuckers gonna freak out about cleaning baby shit but happily clean litter boxes or whatever.
Cloth diapers are easy. Also I'm not afraid of doo-doo. It's like you're gonna sit there and tell me you never got some poo on you changing a diaper or some.

Diapers are for pussies. My baby shits straight into the bin.
This is what it should look like:

I have dogs. You don't pick dog shit out of a litter box. Cats are fucking disgusting.
Cloth diapers are cool for those who have the time to clean 500 pissed and shit diapers a week or those who don't mind the green slimmy shit you get when they are really little. Or the yellow shit. Or the shit that smells so fucking bad you can barely do it because you're about to empty your gut into your cuties face.
I'm a realistic guy here. Those of you that use that shit have a special kind of devotion. I can't do it, but mine are out of fucking diaper thankfully.
What would be killer is if biodegradable diapers were pushed more and if they were processed in some way so they don't sit in a landfill for 500 years.

Well hopefully you pick up the dog shit from your yard.
:P
Breast fed babies have less stinky shit so that's a plus. I don't know if they poop less than formula fed or not. We do bought 24-cloth diapers for each age range. We use bigger ones with an additional liner at night.
Honestly I can't speak for how it'll be when kiddo starts integrating food into the diet but I suspect I'll live. My dogs shit smells terrible when I pick it up on our walks so I suspect it can't be much worse.

Dog shit is like natural bruh. I keep it real and let that shit feed the weeds and grass. hahaha. My dogs don't eat table scraps and only do good foods. So its' only bad when they get into something. Plus one of my dogs has some weird fetish about eating the others shit. UGH. I've had to get after him so many fucking times. Like dude! It's not buried treasure!!! It's shit!!! We used to pick it up, but then we just started running it over with the lawn mower instead. Zero fucks given. I love the smell of methane gas in the morning anyway. Wait...does dog shit have that or is that just cows?
I would have loved to do cloth, but it just wasn't feasible for us. Especially since we used to have to bring our daughter to work with us. LOL. Can you imagine? She'd go through the whole lot in one day!
Now I have three, the youngest (who is 4) has been potty trained since she was a little younger than 3. Glad that shit is over.

I've heard amazing things come from those Target diapers - my problem with them is the damn adhesive strip. It just can't hold up to serious use. Simply not road-worthy. But I think I've come up with a solution! Rehousing.
Anybody know a builder willing to take this project on?
Also, do you think that anyone could customize the enclosures? jwar, can you etch a diaper?

Well if you decide you do care it is the BossMan MT-2 thread transposed onto diaper talk. All meant to be a goof.

Dirty or clean diaper?? Either way, I'll give it a go!
