It is in the 60s here.....supposed to be 77° for Christmas.

My garden died during the freeze down here in TX. We covered it and did everything in our power to save it, but mother nature took her toll on us :'(
Looks like we have some carrots still, but our kale, chard, beets, lettuce, and broccoli all died. I shoulda just harvested what we had before the freeze :facepalm:

i forgot to bring my pot/tray/thing of strawberries inside before it hit. boo. :cry:

Your kale might come back from that, actually. It is really cold hardy. Are your beets ripe/ready to pick or were they still small? Depending on how big they are, they also might be ok since they are underground, even if the tops died.

Sorry to hear about your garden sadness. It is so tough when you put that much time into it.

texas weather....30 feels like 15.. few hrs later 65 feels like 70...ugh...i loved last night, phone said 15 feels like 1 degrees. :barf:
