The modded one sounds an awful lot like my old Fab Tone, just with more mean.

There are a fair deal of metal zone mods out there.

I'd love to have a small board with like, tuner and 4 modded metal zones.

Sadly I can't find anything related to the chainsaw mod value changes what so ever. Everything else is prettt widely available. I can't bring myself to spend $30 on a metal zone, $50 on the mod plus shipping to and from some bogan down under.

Yea, by the time I look at modding prices on a MT2, I think...self, you could buy a real pedal.

If I found the right stuff, yea. I'm down to my last couple spaces in the main rack.

Same thing really on the master board, 13 pedals (no minis, and a few big boxes) on a PT2 was pushing it.

I'm at 10 on my PT2 right now. Squeezing more on will be tight (not impossible). Powering it is a totally different thing.

Yea, I went with a bunch of sideways stuff (since I don't actually use my feet on it, bum foot only really likes the big easy low-profile Boss switch like on the multis or FS5/6, and that on a good day.

Powering it was relatively easy, but I don't have anything that's weird or hates chaining so just running it off an old Boss or Dano adapter.

Surreal moment with the Metal Zone a bit ago though...

If you run the Metal Zone into a Bee Baa, it turns into this velcro fuzz that likes fingerstyle weird.
