Possibly. it made for an interesting change from the experimental shorts and under-the-radar Sissy Spacek movies, that's for sure.

I had to watch The Family Stone for an interpersonal communication class. It was terrible. Not a single Larry Graham bass lick to be heard.

How is this "revival" even possible? I thought Betty White's the only one left standing.

They hologram Bea Arthur. It was the same people that did it with Tupac and there are outtakes from the rehearsals floating around where cyber-Bea spits some of Pac's verses.
(I actually just wanted to document that post before you realize the mistake and have a chance to edit it)
Thank you for being a friend...

Dunno--been avoiding it every time my wife has watched it so far. Pretty well-versed in the pre-revival stuff, having been dating her when she was super into it. I see how it might appeal to some, but it grates on my nerves like nothing I've ever watched before.
Well...my brother-in-law's wife has been posting pictures of wine glasses and gilmore girls screenshots on instagram.
Horibble person --> likes gilmore girls
Therefore, gilmore girls is horrible.
That's how it works, right?

Yes. Law of transitive properties.
My bride was watching it last night when I came down from putting kids to bed...some scene where Rory (the daughter, Alexis Bledel's character) sat down on a sidewalk to interview some guy they seemed to set up as a neckbeard. Smash cut to her waking up to the guy politely telling her she'd fallen asleep while he was talking awhile ago...
So I said that this is more proof that she is a reprehensible human being, which prompted my lady to turn it off because I was ruining it for her.
That's basically the show in a nutshell, except they somehow sell all this stuff as if it's charming.

I don't know what this means but I had a hardy chuckle.
Yeah, and you're right, I mean I would have thought that she'd appreciate the open and honest dialogue. Hmmm.

Oh for sure.
Aedes: I super hope you've dropped 'neckbeard' in the Goog since your post.

indeed I have! my first thought was Abe Lincoln? Maybe some Amish dude?
But then this gem enlightened me:
