When I worked for a GAP establishment, this customer came in and bought like 12 boxes of underwear. Dude goes, "Can you take them out of the boxes before you put them in the bag?"

I did. Then he asked me to wrap them in tissue. His eyes were too aroused. I don't know if there is an unboxing/folding underwear fetish, but my best guess is this dude has/had one.

Creepiest experience I had working retail.

But that was a creepy thing. Every body language vibe, movement, and sound that guy gave off was creepy as all hell. I think he might of specifically asked for me to be the cashier, but I don't remember (I was a manager and avoided the cash wrap like the plague). Don't envy people that deal with that stuff on a regular basis at all...5 minutes of sexual creep exposure is enough for me.

I worked in a large independent bookstore for a few years after college. The weekends are where you'd get hit on by people you wish wouldn't hit on you. The range was from charming, silly, drunk to "Damnit, I want to take a hot shower and wash the patina of that experience off of me right now."

Haha, yup, exactly how I felt. So glad I was stock and generally only worked a few slow hours during customer times. I took every damn night shift I could. I might gut my own throat if I have to bring ever blue shoe in every size to another demanding 65 year old woman for her taught party in Van Nuts (ain't no water there lady).

I had a co-worker that came in for his paycheck. I walked by while he was waiting (he was obviously high) and he said out loud, "Damn, LG* has a hot ass! Right?" I just kinda stopped and did my Vulcan/Nimoy stare and scurried off (probably to restock petite chinos). Didn't bother me at all but everyone was freaked out because he shouted in the break room. He really, really liked me and we stayed friends, but, you know, happily married here.

Wasn't there a thread about moving a retail relationship to the personal thread started by the Pope?

Most of us in the DR have had some pretty good internet (and in more cases than you'd think, real life) discussions/interactions with Mark and the guy is made out of solid gold.
Plus his pedal lineup is fucking bulletproof.
I don't see how not getting a fancy box with a screen print of the front of the pedal on it changes that.

Mark needs to get some boxes and print this dudes post up on them for his next run of things.
