Also I know I said this in the other thread but anyone that calls black tea 'red tea' deserves to be first against the wall.

As I understand, what we call black tea is called red tea in China, because the actual steeped liquid is a red color, whereas we name it based on the color of the oxidized tea leaf.

My tea journey also began with learning that all tea comes from the same leaf, and it's the processing that produces much of the variety (obviously environmental factors impact flavor too). After years of working in the coffee industry labyrinth over subtle tasting notes, it was nice to have way more differences and obvious distinctions. And it's delicious.

My aunt takes small pieces of orange rind and pushes cloves through em. These are dried and then added to cups of tea.
