You know seeds aren't that hard, but you have to start with some easy ones.

weather here in the midwest of USA is what tends to be tricky about seeds. it's almost may and for all we know it might snow next week.

asparagus! i've gotta look into that...
though i hate the attack of asparagus piss.

Asparagus is actually kind of a pain to get started. I planted mine years ago and am just now able to eat some of it. Once it gets going though, it is super easy.

I was about to say the same thing, frist time i planted mine it was terrbile, barely managed to eat one or two and then threw them all away, but now they are quite good.

Any type of tomato I can find, pumpkins, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi, fig, different types of salad, jalapenos, melons (still trying - never works), basil and the like .... and hemp.

habanero peppers

fun story - i grew those once then rubbed my eye while dicing some.
keep rubber gloves in my kitchen now.

this is my first time with habaneros. i'm a little scared.

I've felt this pain. Last fall when I harvested my tabasco peppers, I was pureeing them in the food processor and it going really unevenly so I took the cover off to mix it up by hand, and I gave it one little pulse with the cover still off. Bits of pureed tabasco pepper in my eyes. Party time.

my mom grew pumpkins in the backyard when i was growing up. not sure i'd wanna do that, but it was always cool.
i've grown strawberries before, totally should do that again...
kiwi! that would be awesome! grew grapes at my old place before i moved, would be a neat switch.

You should try kiwi. It is actually similar to grapes as it likes to grow wrapping itself around stuff, you know pergola style. It also grows really fast.
I planted it last year, left it outside in the Swiss winter, wasn't too sure about that - but, no problem at all.

You should try kiwi. It is actually similar to grapes as it likes to grow wrapping itself around stuff, you know pergola style. It also grows really fast.

I was thinking about planting it, as far as I know you need one male plant and two females or something like that to make em grow correctly..am I wrong?
