Well, I think one step further it's more "If I rally against the gays, nobody will suspect that I'm gay."

Gender roles/expectations, concepts of masculinity, deep rooted fear.

I'm against what I consider ending a life but I have stated that it is not my choice to make. It doesn't mean I have to like it. I dont see how that has anything to do with intolerance of homosexuality.

Also I'm pro death penalty. How's that fit into the equation? I have a wide stance on many beliefs.

the death penalty doesn't really factor into this equation, I would say, but I don't think it's a huge stretch to see that a lot of the pro-life legislation that gets passed pretty easily falls under the umbrella of being intolerant of someone's lifestyle?

No desire to argue your beliefs with you any more than we already do  but O's question makes sense to me.

It's not gay if we don't make eye contact, bro. Now swallow already.

It's not gay if you don't push back or look back or if you're related. Or under water...

What a fucked up law, to say nothing of the raging idiot who signed it! It boggles the mind.

From the article: 'Rep. Andy Gipson, R-Braxton (https://twitter.com/repandygipson), a lawyer and Southern Baptist minister who shepherded the measure through the House, said under the law, “people can not only believe what they believe, but act in accordance with their beliefs and not violate their conscience.” '

"Conscience"... man, that's rich. "Oh poor Larry, you had to sell a cowboy hat to a gay man today? You must feel so violated in your pure, loving conscience. You best pray to GAWD for forgiveness."

FUCK OFF.

It's just hobbyhorsing this one moral issue too
I am sure that none of these businesses are turning away people struggling with anything else the bible defines as "Sexual sin"
They would be out of business in a week.

Yes, I'd like to see the fuckers really commit to their beliefs that they hold so sacred, vs. cherry-picking the ones that seem most agreeable to them. What, too scared to go full Leviticus?

You know.... as the divine ruler of the glorious kingdom of South Carolina, I used to think I knew a thing or two about rural country fucktards. Thats right up until i spent most of last year and the beginning of the current one in Mississippi. Its like Ole Miss was involved in some kind of secret government experiment to produce biologically engineered super mongoloids.

Im talking when people heard i was from south carolina they were apologizing for my state having to take down its rebel flag because "ITS A SHAME WHATS HAPPENING TO THIS COUNTRI CAUSE UH THEM UPPITY NIGRUNZ".

It must have something to do with the dogshit ass food they eat. Mississippi is to cajun food what the olive garden is to italian. Then you hit Oxford and take your ass downtown and it becomes some fucked up reinterpretation of california cuisine meets cajun and soul stylings filtered through some food network half rate bobby flay fuckup of a cook. And did i mention....DID I MENTION GUYS THAT THEY SERVED ME A CHIMAY BLUE IN A FUCKING PINT GLASS????? LIKE HELLO ITS CALLED GLASSWARE YOU CRACKER ASS WHITEBREAD HALFWIT. DONT BELIEVE ME? HERES THE PICTURE.
Image

And its a shame. Because the sky is blue and the grass is this beautiful green and I occasionally met some real genuine people. Like the folks that run BTC grocery in Water Valley, or the staff and patrons of SnackBar in Oxford. Also theres the fact that I routinely bombed by state troopers and police officers doing like 120 and nobody batted an eye. Also if you go to pass someone they slow down so you can pass them more quickly.

Ultimately you have to take this shit on a case by case basis. Can businesses refuse service to people on personal grounds? Fuck yes, this is America and I will scream till I lose my voice to protect their right to do so. And the second someone in my town actually refuses service to a couple based on sexual orientation, ill wait till they are closed for the night and spray paint "TOTAL FUCKING RETARDS" across the front of their business.

Then i will band together with other likeminded individuals to boycott their store and make sure everyone in town is aware of their shitty practices. And hopefully they'll go out of business. And die. Because this is america and we have the freedom to run our lives and our businesses in keeping with our beliefs, however idiotic they may be. And none else has the right to stop you from doing that. But this is also a capitalist society, where the rest of your town has the right to shop the fuck elsewhere until you go belly up, to show you they don't appreciate you hanging around when you clearly need to fuck off back to the 1700s or whatever.

Btw I hate Ole Miss with a passion. Those Kappa Data Rapa fucktards were one of the things I despised most about growing up in the state. Despite the fact that I've heard lots of cool things about Oxford and have lots of great friends who've lived there, I've never been, pretty much purely out of opposition to the university. May be a fine institution in some aspects, but it's filled with quite a lotta turds.
