Alright guys, it's been a busy New Years so i didn't get to do the really pretty, edited, fun stuff, different playing styles, delay comparisons, etc etc as i wanted to but thought i'd just do a quick run through of the first 12 presets using a quick guitar loop i recorded. Just did something really simple that could let you here the first 12 presets and what different settings on them sound like. Wanted to get this out in case anyone is interested and on the fence because Prymaxe has these pre orders at 20% off right now!

Hopefully i'll do a real demo when time allows which will have shootouts, dirt added, different musical stylings instead of just a loop, etc.

Heres a quick shootout i did of several delays. Very basic to showcase the repeats and no modulation. I tried to get the tempos, feedback and volume as close as possible on each.

MMTT1100
EightyTape Limbo II
Moog 104M
Gurus Echosex 2
Skreddy Echo
Providence Delay 80's
Source Audio Nemesis
Boss DD500

Something to note: When your setting pedals to each other and not your gear then it's never going to showcase the best of each pedal. Also, it's going to sound different with each rig. I even find that it may sound good one day and not the next. Mainly, each of these pedals bring something to the table. Here i think they all sound good if not great. You can hear the differences a little more in the room than on a recording. So for me it comes down to what features and modulation i want for a particular song when recording. They all have their pros and cons and they're all worthy delays. I should have added a crappy delay somewhere in the chain to really show the difference.... i'll have to do that next time.

Also, the Limbo II had the tone knob turned a quarter up and should have been half so it's darker here than it is. It actually holds up extremely well IMO. The Moog had 300ma power source instead of 400ma so not sure if that affected the sound at all.

Here it is. What are your favorites?

Tone is in the socks. You need big socks for big tone. Also, it's the only thing i'm wearing while making this video. :hello:

i dig the sound of the Limbo and Memory Man best. the Providence was too bright and clear for my current tastes*. thanks for doing this!

*my taste is delay tones is very fickle, i'll probably love that sound in a month or two.

Started combining a few things today. First go with the Elektron Machinedrum... pretty basic here and need to learn how to get it to sound nice and full but it's doing what i wanted. Also using the Hologram Dream Sequencer, Eightytape Limbo II delay, Basic Audio Fuzz Mutant and Flux Liquid Ambience.

Just a little freestyle playing to try all this stuff together. Going to do a full solo project with all this (and add the moogs and other virtual instruments) though it won't really sound like this but at least it's a start.

Damn, that's legit. Nice.

Any chance of some solo Dream Sequence action? :poke:

Yeah, i'm going to do a legit video demo as soon as time permits. Just hard since the girlfriend just had ACL surgery so when i'm not at work i'm taking care of her. Hope to have a little more time next weekend so may be able to get that done, the ACMEVERB demo and the Cornish P2 demo done.... hopefully.

Only had a few minutes with it today. Gonna reserve judgement and speak more on it after I get some proper time with it. I will say I'm very impressed with how defined notes are at high gain and yes it sounds fantastic.
