Not sure if you are kidding or not, but I just got a PS4 with all of the dude raiders, er the uncharted collection, and Fallout 4 for $350 at Gamestop.com

+1 on worshipping bethesda. morrowind is what got me back into gaming.
there are other games i've loved, but elder scrolls and fallout are my shiz.
personally at the moment i hope i don't find some hideously tempting black friday item...

college roommate of mine got me to check that out once upon a time. instantly addicted. hadn't played video games in years.
i think oblivion has been my favorite of the elder scrolls, but i always credit morrowind as being my favorite game ever. if that makes sense...
sorry to switch topics, back to black friday

I started playing both Morrowind and Oblivion again 2 weeks ago.
It's cool because I have a ton of other things to do that I haven't thought about since then.

Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, ESO, they're all really great games.
When ESO came out, people realized pretty quickly that it wasn't Skyrim, and they hated on it for months. I think having to pay a monthly sub contributed to the hate, as well.
But since then, it's become free to play, and once you get over the fact that it isn't Skyrim, you can start to love it for what it is. Honestly, like, Skyrim is a work of art. It's a really peerless game. But the feel of the game comes from being alone in the wilderness of it, finding giants and mages and things out in the middle of some tundra expanse. ESO isn't (usually) like that at all. There's fuckbois running every which way and that. And that's the fun of it. It's just this big, awesome free-for-all.
Which fits the mythology, because Tamriel in ESO is in full swing, height of its opulence and culture, whereas Skyrim in Skyrim is in a state of civil war and general decline.

Skyrim sucks though.
I mean if you don't like RPGs, yea Skyrim is a great game.

Perk trees can suck my dick.
You being a world-renowned hero 20 minutes into the game can suck my dick.

Bro do you even game?

Which game are you talking about anyway? I busted my balls playing Skyrim and don't recall that? Maybe it's because I never read the story and only focus on what I can kill in games. I think I have issues...

Honestly, if someone asked me, "What game is the great creative and artistic success of any video game, ever?"... well, I'd say the original Super Mario Bros., actually. But if you limited to the modern era, Skyrim takes the cake without contest. And yes, I have played the other TES games (Arena excluded).
It would be one of the few things I would not hesitate to describe with an unreserved superlative like that.
BUT... that is, admittedly, "just my opinion." Not everybody dug it. Many people felt like it was a dumbed-down Morrowind. To me, the atmosphere of that game is better than anything in Morrowind.
Early in the game, you get caught in a snowstorm... you see Bleak Falls Barrow's shadow, over there in the storm... you carve your way through a half dozen bandits and step inside to seek refuge... you hear the wind howling through the cracks above you, and the gargled awakening of a Draugr in front of you... you press onward, prepared to face death itself...
The immersion is literally perfect. That lonely, ethereal quality. Can't get enough of it.

skyrim's problem for me was that the conclusion to the main story was way too easy because of how long i'd sidetracked and improved.
no problem for dis dragonslaya.
