Speaking of cats being assholes, ours are indoor only, because the desert is filled with things that would love to eat them. Well this morning I went out to the car, and when I came back in, Freya made a break for it.

She didn't get very far, I think the whole outside experience freaked her out.

Cats are rad. Mah Rescue-Kitty-turned-Cat is terrified of going through doorways.

i might adopt this cat next week. Her name is Orphelia, she's 3, and she's FIV+.

I just have to get prepared for her, and go to the shelter and see if she's still there and if we get along together

d'awwwwww! you're the sweetest! me and The GrrL were looking at a one eyed kit to rescue, but she was FIV+, and we can't do that with the other cat here.

I have had one cat in my life. My wife and I rescued him, he was a middle aged cat in a shelter. He was a lover and a weirdo. After 6 months we found out that he had cancer in his mouth, there wasn't anything that we could do. After a couple of weeks we had to put him down. I was super sad, no cat and some scratched furniture. No more cats for me, my dog is enough.

My oldest cat actually died recently, so I wasn't planning on replacing her.

This little one is name Kito (nonsense thing made from the combo of Spanish and English). Buddy of mine found her and the rest of her litter in a bush in there front yard. They were just giving them out to friends, and since it was my girls b day the following week + shes wanted a cat foreverrrrr, I swiped her up! 6 weeks at the time of the pic, adjusted well, vet says shes healthy, just gotta wait till shes gained more chub for the shots. And my Chihuahua likes her! Who knew?
