Yeah, that's about what it is for us RI-folks. Having been once before, I can say with certainty that it is totally fun, and you should totally go. Are there any other ILFers that you know who you could carpool with? Having folks along for the ride always makes the drive more bearable for me.

I'm not sure if anyone lives in the SJ area near me. I'm like right in the middle between AC and Philly if anyone is.

Yea, the drive part is what is getting me. I absolutely loathe driving. I'd much rather just drive straight off a bridge than subject myself to the hell of North Jersey traffic.

It'll be +/- 3 hours for me too. Love driving by myself, though: that's prime album listening time right thurr.

Even though im not gonna be there I wanna make a suggestion:

Last time as suuuuper fun but having everyone jam all at once can be hectic. I would totally suggest making pairings, like "i wanna hear what you three would sound like together" etc.


Or, a friend described me this method of jaming:

have numbered pieces of paper equal to the amount of people present, then everyone draws one at random without saying their number. #1 starts playing, then three minutes later #2 come in. Three minutes later, #1 starts to fade out as #3 fades in, and you keep that going every three minutes until everyone has played for six minutes total.

I havent done this yet but it seems super fun, and everyone gets a chance to play and listen.
