:thumb: Actually I DID literally do that; but it was before reading the blog. On my track Electric Sock Puppets I'm using about 7 pedals on each guitar track (except bass, that was pretty much naked). While I have dozens of recordings where a particular pedal is prominent (phaser, wah, flanger etc.) for me a little bit of a lot of shit is working for me. For my dirt, having everything low and then goosing it with an overdrive works better (for me) than increasing gain/distortion.

BTW, if you listen to the track, forgive me it sucks.
