i'm not actually a big isis fan, so i've never really paid attention to their bass tone. but i was thinking about it, and i do actually really like that weird reverb-y bass on the twin peaks theme song, so there you go.

I think it's mostly American Evangelical Christians that use shimmer based effects these days. They don't want to create cathedrals of sound like the Shoegazers, cathedrals are far too decadent and papist in origin!

I like the Reecho and Pitch Box the best, from Mooer. The current higher price tag makes it hard to justify, when there are Mooer clones like Donner and Eno (the copier gets copied).

My understanding, from gutshots and the like, it that the Eno's aren't exact clones. Or, at the very least, often use lower quality components than the Mooer and Donner stuff.

If you're looking for cheap(er) Mooer alts, Donner and Monoprice are the way to go.
