I finally got to check out some Dirty Heshers through my amps and they sounded really fucking good. I was really impressed considering how hot they are, they were so clear and not muddy a single bit, which I feel humbuckers usually are (since I normally play single coils). Really actually considering looking for a semi cheap but quality guitar to drop a set in. Just gotta find something good in a low price range with a 25 1/2" scale to look out for.

Bumping this as I'd like to know if these guys clean up with the volume knob.
Like, if I'm playing a high gain amp, will it get a low to moderate crunch if I back off on the volume a bit?

Yeah, they are pretty dynamic with the volume knob. Plus some (all?) of them are easily wired for coil tapping.

Hmmm ok.
Just considering amp options and wondering whether or not I wanna go for a dirt machine, and not run any pedals out front, deal with not having clean cleans, putting all my shit like delay and verb in the loop.

so...just so people know first...I'm selling my dirty heshers set.

I've just realised i want low/medium output pickups. Sounds a bit lame...but i really like the sound of the burstbuckers in my Les Paul.

so Pope...if you are in need of a set, let me know.
