If you want legit pizza, it would run you about $7-$10 here, depending on toppings, if it's your run of the mill shit college pizza place, then around trifiddy, that and about 2 months of your life.

Lots of oil means high fat content. Lots of shitty pizza just happens to be oil soaked yet somehow burnt on the bottom

Whole milk mozz is very creamy but with less moisture & firmer texture than fresh mozz.
Fresh mozz is the shiz on margarita style, w/toppings to the edges. Fresh herbs, in general.
In fact I put fresh basil and/or oregano on most pizza. But not when I want a plain neapolitan slice...

I generally use a blend of cheeses when I make pizza, as I feel that mozzarella alone is drowned by my crust. I use a beer-based dough though, so that's a big factor. Besides, most of the mozarella I've bought lately has been terribly oily, but maybe I just haven't found the right brand/type.

Dude, I know places in Oslo where you can get an entire pizza for 100 funny kroner.
Let us go then, you and I,
When the evening is spread out against the sky
Like a patient etherized upon a table;
Let us go, through certain half-deserted streets,
The muttering retreats
Of restless nights in one-night cheap hotels
And sawdust restaurants with oyster-shells:
Streets that follow like a tedious argument
Of insidious intent
To lead you to an overwhelming question….
Oh, do not ask, “What is it?”
Let us go and make our visit.

In some parts of the world they call those "garlic knots".
But there are no knots in these. they're just nugs, man. DANK ASS NUGS OF DOUGH AND GARLIC BUTTER AND GOODNESS, OKAY.

OKAY?

Oh, I know.
I don't think it needs to have a "knot" in it to be a "garlic knot" though. Sometimes they're just garlicky blobs of pizza dough.
They're usually still pretty tasty either way. The knots just make 'em a little fancier.

no the knots taste better because of the way the dough forms
plus the garlic and such can seep into all those little spaces
if you have balls of dough you should deep fry em and shake em in sugar

Absolutely true. It's also much more enjoyable to rip off a good chunk of a knot with your teeth rather than just eating it.
Dollar pizza really shouldn't count. I have a passionate hate for dollar pizza. It's become such an epidemic in NYC that many pizza places are shutting down because all the transplants who move here don't know the difference between good pizza and undercooked dough topped with a block of cheese and a can of store brand tomatoes. That shit is so disgusting.
/end rant

I never really like "good" pizza.
Like I went to this place when my dad was in town for my graduation that was like $30/pie. GF raves about it, I was like, "meh"
Gimme mediocre stuff like this
(D.o.S should hit up the 'cass if he's ever shredding in Stowe)

Almost stopped in there like a month ago. Weird. Will swing in next time I'm 'round that way.

by leaves turn
crushed red pepper on everything yusssssss
I get almost all my pizza through a local chain, Big Daddy's. 12" carryout pizza ranges from $4 to $9 depending on time and toppings. It's nothing fancy but I like it more than any national brand except maybe Papa John's.

Papa John's Sucks
And so does Manning
We have a nice pizza place in town where I live
Very good slices
but the one in the mall (not in a food court) but on the edge of the mall
is better
thinner crust better toppings
