So explain how Yahoo works? Is it based on your email address? Does the commish send invites?

Also are we doing live drafting? We'd have to figure out a good time for everyone, but it's fun that way. There's chat apps you can download like Line that makes it easy to communicate and talk shit. I talk a LOT of shit. :)

I'm still not seeing the benefit of it, but I'm used to NFL.com and it's so easy to use and you can run multiple leagues on it. Sigh. I'll do whatever though. :)

You can sign up for yahoo using whatever email address, but yeah, invites are the dealieo.

I think we have to do a live draft, tbh.

Live draft is a must. I think we did Sunday night of Labor Day weekend last year.

One change I'd be done with is getting rid of kickers for the reasons outlined here: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2 ... -appendix/

i agree, yahoo would be best for me. and i'm down for whichever kind of draft. what kind of league is this though? PPR? 2 QB? Standard?
I put the details in my previous post, but it's PPR, with a bonus for 100-yard rushing games to even out the scoring between RBs and WRs. I would love to do 2QB, but I'm not sure everyone else would go for it.

OK so we have two people that like Yahoo, and one who is pretty adamant about doing NFL.com. Any other opinions on a site?

As an aside, I spoke to Tom last night, and he's down with doing the same prize structure as last year, assuming everyone is still cool with the prizes being Fuzzhugger gift certificates?

Oh, and yes, we are doing a live draft. Autodraft is the worst thing in the world. Including Hitler.

Only if you don't include Wicked Wisdom.

Last year I played both ESPN and yahoo. They were both fine. I thought the espn one was a little more "professional" but yahoo gave more geeky league stats. I haven't used other sites. I am sure we will all get used to whatever er site we use. I liked how we did scoring last year.

I liked ESPN last year so that get's my vote.
That said... I haven't tried the others and wouldn't be opposed to a change.

I'm down for whatever. Fuzzhugger gift cards are awesome! That's such a cool thing. So we each pitch in 20?

I know I'm not going to win, but I'll still have fun. I honestly suck at this shit. hahahaha. I don't even watch football. I just got a kick out of playing last year with my cousin. So now this will be my second league.

What should we call the league Commish???

OK so if people are cool with ESPN, then that's easiest for me, because I can just reactivate our league from last year. $20 each is what we went with last year. First things first, everyone PM me to say you're in, and include your email address so I can send invites.

I've got 3 PMs so far. I sent a couple PMs out to guys who were in last year, as I'd like to get back up to 12 teams if possible.

OK I've received responses from a few of the guys from last year that they can't do it this year. So we can either go forward as we are with 10 teams, or we can try to find two more people.

If we stay at 10 teams, I'll bring the playoffs down to 4 teams and add a week to the regular season. What do you guys think?
