Stop with the veiled shitting on Nora's thread, get over people valuing shit differently to you and contribute positively. It you're intrigued about how one goes about spending a grand on a reverb ask.
- hey Nora, what made you get this instead of an RRR (my favourite reverb fwiw)? Do you think it's worth a grand?
That makes for a way more interesting thread than harping on someone's spending habits.

I think price can be an interesting discussion topic but there are ways and means of discussing it.
I see.

Firtly, I implied nothing. Only in your head

As for "there is no difference between it and a digital emulation" that was indeed a statement not something that I veiled.

I'm not one to veil anything. You know me from no where to make such an acuastion, sir. Keep that in mind next time you decide to throw your pseudo-morals around.

Also you come a bit too late. I already have sent a PM to Nora about it.

And when you say that I "should" ask this or that, you are actually saying your way is the right way, when I have no interest in asking anything this way or that way.
Also, I'm sorry to tell you but you are the one harping.

And since as a grown up that I am I have no pleasure in entertaining your selfrighteous remarks, I will excuse myself from replying to you further.

Be well. :)

Relax friend, don't feel attacked neither cryticised.

The gear I'm into buying is a) multiple, b) inexpensive [under 90€ brand new for the most part, and mot of them I can get for aroun 40€ used], c) easy to trade with other inexspensive gear and d) some are not one trick poneys.

Can't see why is it irresponsible, though. Is it irresponsible spending less than way less than $999 in multiple gear that will keep me entertained for quite as long as I've been playing guitar?
Is it stupid planing to buy a lot of things over the corse of time than forking over 2 months of salary on a Reverb unit? Sorry, I'm alo a wortking man, but I prefer to eat rather than 2 spending salaries [$999] on a single one trick poney effect unit.

To sum it up, I didn't call you names, neither was I disrespectful towards you [calling your $999 Reverb Unit buying an irresponsible or a downright stupid thing to do; it' your money, your business, no matter how foolih and ridiculous it may be], as I'm quite sure you'll agree.

Be well and peaceful friend.
Firstly, you must have some severely inflated sense of self worth if you think I care what a child like you has to say about me. So, you can save all that BS.

Secondly, if $999 is "2 months salary" for you, that is your problem, not mine. Perhaps you should do something to better your situation in life so that you can eat and afford the toys you want. Maybe take that money you were going to spend on gear and get your GED (or whatever the equivalent is in your part of the world) and get a higher paying job.

Thirdly, yes, if you are "broke" like you said - to the point where spending $999 on something would mean not having money for food - then it is very irresponsible for you to buy a ton of gear. But, that's a problem for you and your family if you "support" anyone.

If it makes you feel any better, I also just spent $150 on a vintage Lafayette Echo Verb. Even more of a one trick pony. And it is delicious.

Have no need of a GED. I don't plan on becoming American. Also my College degree is more than adequate in this part of the world.
Also we have something you may never heard of: we call it "politeness", and unlike you we valor it.

Cheers buddy
PS: hope both of them taste good as well. you never know when you'll be in need of eating them. Perhaps you hould cover them in bacon hey? :hello:

forgot to ask. if such "grown-up" and despicable and shitty attitude of yours means we can't get along as I asked politely via PM? But now it's irrelevant isn't it?
Be well buddy :thumb:

Probably no best per se, but I would probably go with 20 $50 reverbs all strung together. Or possibly 50 $20 reverbs if you have the space.

this page is real spammy. besides, with something called spaghetti western, you need to use tons of reverb.

also, flickinger makes that good shit.

No, my last prymaxe package was shipped in a simple floppy bubble-lope but I mean it was fine. Even though I feel like shit buying from prymaxe.

That's weird they ship normal to me....box and peanuts.

The Flickinger sounds at least 5 times better than my Red Panda Context. And that ain't no lie.

ahah yeah. Wish I was that poor... but somehow I can't see my self buying a $999 Reverb even if I could afford it as peanuts :idk:
Well... maybe I'll get into Nora's will...
In case you misunderstood, to clarify: I was referring to the standard of the packaging - as being very poor.
