All "Electronic Shipping Info Received" means, is they've created a shipping label to slap on the box and ship it. It doesn't mean that the item has actually shipped or that's it's even in stock.
My guess was that they created the shipping info so you'd get a notification but most likely they were waiting on a shipment to come in or something else.
I had the same thing going on with Josh from Malekko (in my early ilf days). Got two times the notification - never received anything. That's why i say he is a liar.

hell, I've had musicians friend do this. They sell things they do not have. It's a fairly common and shady business practice. At least MF tells you (after your order) that the item is out of stock and will ship in 3-30 weeks. It's bs. If you are selling something. have it. Dont sell shit that you claim to have and then order it from a supplier once it's ordered from you. If it's stated up front. I have no problem with it, but the implication of being able to buy something and have it shipped to you in days when it's actually going to take weeks pisses me off.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO despite the bad press, I decided to buy from Rogue. The pedal I bought was a Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl. I chatted with a fellow about getting a little discount, he did it and gave me free shipping. Pedal arrived in mint condition two days later. Not sure why others had bad luck, but I am happy. Took a big risk too.

Can't you get your credit card to reverse your charge if you didn't get your merch? They shouldn't give you any hassle. I've had them do that when I received merchandise that was broken and the seller was being an ass about returning it.
Also, isn't buying from prymaxe better than buying used? When you buy from prymaxe, the builder makes money. When you buy used, the builder doesn't make money.

I got my Money back. Almost. Got a different conversion rate and lost about 9 EUR. Rogue obviously tries to sell stuff that they don't stock on reverb.com (on ebay that is Not allowed). Just be warned.
Prymaxe namedroppin' was just a joke for jwar.

That's good. Yeah credit cards will pretty much reverse the charge without any hassle. Or at least the good ones will. The most you may need to do is a sign an affidavit saying it is not your charge or whatever the situation is. But, they will only make you do that if it above a certain amount of money like a couple hundred bucks or something. Glad it (mostly) worked out for you.

I am the owner of RogueGuitarShop.
I was doing some research looks like my team was helping you back in june with this pedal.
I apologize for the hassle you went through.
I'd like to find a way to make amends with you and make things right between Rogue and You.
We value our customers and I want to apologize for the way you were treated.
A case should have never happened.
We run our inventory on 5-6 different platforms (Rogueguitarshop.com, In the shop, Reverb, ebay, amazon, buy.com, sears.com) and sometimes its hard to keep track of. Especially when some of them dont have an api to tie into our inventory.
Is there anything I can do to make things right

It is good, that they try to improve. What cracks me up is, that Jonathan is the one who wanted me to close the paypal dispute
In case someone wants to know: i did not answer the mail and won't answer it. I'm done with that shop.

I came across Rogue the other day by way of the Chase Bliss site I believe and that annoying chat box popped up, even had an annoying sound. So I said I hear you guys take orders for stuff that is not in stock that you list as in stock and say you ship it but never do. The guy responded with someghing like " I know we have had some issues in the past but we just moved into a bigger building".
So yeah.

I like that a bigger building is going to solve their customer service issues.

Hey, maybe this is a new beginning for them. People change. Someone should buy something to test them out.
On a related note, I got an email from PayPal the other day saying they are extending their dispute claim process to 6 months. At least I believe that is what they said.
