I wish everybody who's tried old Frazzes or ones without the toggle could try a new one, it took me a while to get the Frazz just right... like that nude Dazzler up there, the current Frazz sounds way better!
I've tried to keep away from any overlap with my dirt pedals.. the Frazz and Elements and BitQuest all sound totally different, nothing in common with their gain circuits/structures/styles. I think the Frazz is the meanest and grindiest of my dirts, the one most suited to palm mutes and power chords.
It loves P90s! Can do some heavy stuff too, not as tight as the Elements but for certain styles it's a killer heavy drive. And it gets better the more you tune down. Damn Ryan, a pic of the new design please!
Shoot, sorry for my slowness guys! I'm just getting farther and farther behind lately! I'll get the pics up now..
Trey, I could see you liking a Frazz bigtime.. the thing with the Frazz is it's all about taking a totally clean amp and being able to have a huge wall of fuzzstortion.. I say fuzzstortion cause you can't palm mute lots of fuzzes, they don't sound right.. so you gotta have some stortion in there for crunchy mutes. It really rips though, tons of gain, meant for a clean amp to have a really honking high gain sound.
So far ~450 out of ~7 billion people have a Frazz... watch out the rest of you, Frazz is coming for ya! And yeah, soon as I ship that 7 billionth Frazz we're gonna have a pretty wild pizza party. We'll get the crew from Epic Meal Time to cater it...
I can't remember who I sold it to, but I let it go for dirt cheap, and want it back. GIMME NOW.
Pretty sure that it was me who bought it from you Jero. I let it go dirt cheap too, I'm trying to remember the handle of the guy I sold it to. He was one of those guys who joined up and was pretty regular for a while and then just dropped off the radar. I told him that if he ever flipped it that it had to stay in the ILF family. I'm guessing he still has it? Wish I'd kept the thing myself, oh well.
Having seen that stupid sexy new green sparkle finish Frazz, I think there might be a new one in my not too distant future though.
Jason, I've heard about those green eyes you have.. I think a new green Frazz would really set them off nicely, probably get you lots of chicks and lots more money at work.
