I'm sure it's "possible" I severely doubt that it would be even close to practical though.
I doubt smaller manufacturers would even need to be concerned
rfurtkamp wrote:Honest answer is no.
But EHX is not a small pedal builder, which is why they got crucified.
That's truth
It would be a whole other matter if the FCC was targeting small builders

I have been reading up on this, I can't believe it, this is one of the most disgusting things that the government bastards have pulled

It's fucken crazy! Is this a worldwide thing? I know it's happening in the states but now I'm paranoid about shipping pedals anywhere! FUCK the FCC!

I read somewhere that pedals that run on a battery with no physical plug for an adapter are exempt? for fuck sakes man.....

As a foreign builder, I'd laugh at it - just like ours laugh at Euro requirements most of the time if they're small guys.

Yeah intothegroove I'd definitely laugh at it
If the FCC ever targeted you (which I hope to god it never would) I would give you all the support you need!

FCC would just order you to stop importing into the US etc at most.
And then it'd be your choice to comply etc.
No different than people ordering shit direct from China.

Well that makes sense -- it's just acknowledging the superiority of battery powered pedals.

I did read the entire TGP thread. Jesus. Remind me never to do that again. Lots of freaking out going on. People talking about the FCC showing up to their door or if their pedals are illegal. Laugh out fucking loud. My God what a bunch of weird assholes. Do they honestly think the FCC has time to personally go out and round up their fucking pedals? SERIOUSLY??? And Obama is going to take our guns too guys. Better hide your head in a hole in the ground. The Govment it comin.

As long as they keep slapping down phone and internet companies, I have a hard time completely hating the FCC.
