Meh, I've sold a number of pedals to know they'll go.
Not everyone is as broke as a broke ass :)

Yeah, i have to learn how to save money :(
Whenever I start saving for something more substantial I get distracted and buy something cheap for a quick pedal fix. Damn you will power!

Hi

The Flanger has sold, eBay, for £475 plus postage
So I feel a bit reassured that the price was ok, sorry to those that could not afford the £399 ILF price.
If anyone is serious, I would take a deposit of £100 on making a 3rd unit with payment on completion & shipping

Best regards

Ian

Congrats! I'm sure it's worth the asking price, looks like a LOT of work. You shouldn't feel bad at all asking that much for such a complex build.

I've been interested in the flange for a while but there's no way I could buy from the UK with the exchange rate like it is. It works out at like $800 which is more than any of my guitars are worth

ONE DAY

Yeah for clarification, its a European (German) buyer

I feel the same pain, if I try and buy anything of value from the US you have a balance:
1 - dont declare the item value, risk losing it, not insured and avoid the import taxes
2 - declare the item properly, and pay 21% plsu handling fees!

:(
It really stops me making good deals with people from the US :(

Also, I paid £650 for my vintage ?Flange, which is double what I paid for my J Mascis Jazzmaster.
I find that really hard to rationalize sometimes, but the fact is they made 200 flangers and probably 200,000 j masci

Should point out that I think your prices are really good man - in case you thought I was having a dig at you.

No way dude I didnt think that at all.
Im still learning what are acceptable prices and where I can position these pedals in the market.
Obviously eBayers are a different market to ILFers or other forumites like TGP.

Im definitely open to trades, multiple discounts, and of course the customary "ILF discount"
