I just see some of the larger boards here and wonder how you guys manage to turn the right stuff on together.

As above, I turn the pedals on that I want.

If I want sweeping program/sound changes, that's what my rack is for. The pedals are here because they do things that the rack doesn't, and I accept their limited control.

I say this with the guts of a Quadraverb on my desk right now as I clean it out and swap EPROMs.
