-Digitech Synth Wah: mode 7 with range all the way off is a killer octaver
-Digitech Turbo Flange: speed all the way down in random mode provides crazy pixellation windowing. woah
-BYOC Parametric EQ: on the correct Hz can do the Meat Box thing

My Boss HM-2 always has the distortion knob all the way down. Its my clean(ish) boost.

This thread made me think of this video. Nick from Tera Melos gets an 808 sound from a circuit-bent envelope filter and a DL4:
the money starts around 3:00

I also use the hell out of the hold function on the DD5.
Lately the BOSS PS5 in the fx loop of the Superego gives me bagpipes. It's awesome. I also use the Behringer Bass Synth in the loop. That actually gives me better bass drone than the PS5 in the loop.

I remember finding a setting on my Flanger Hoax that was like a really nice, slightly warped warm overdrive. Recorded some tracks with it, forgot to write the setting down, and haven't been able to find it again since.

I turn the chorus rate and depth on an me20 all the way up it sounds like a machine or something. Industrial even.

I have been using my Sparkle Motion so that when I have fuzz running into it, and I turn it on, it sort of puts a blanket on the high end and quiets it down. Like an anti-clean boost. I am hoping in a band context it'll let me blend into the background when I need to and when i turn it off I'll all of a sudden come into the center of the mix.
Also when used with my super trifuzz I get the best worst lo fidelity tone. mmmmm

Synth pedals like the ehx micro synth are a marriage made in heaven for drum machines. MoogerFoogers and similar pedals are modules in a guitar/bass fx disguise. Delay and fx like phase, flange, and chorus are essential tools for feedback loops/noise. That is all

Has anyone ran vocals through a Ravish Sitar? In a fantasy world where I grow money on my limbs like leaves on a tree, I've wanted to get one to try that.

Srs, with the depth control all the way down, and the level way up, you've got yourself a nice warm sounding clean boost.

I used an adrenalinn with the drum machine running into a ring mod to play a "lead" at one show years back. I think all I did was slap my strings. Kinda lame and lazy.

Adrenalinn routed drums into effects works dandy without an input, too. Fun options for syncing or not syncing effects to the beat. An ass pain to program the beats beyond the preset patterns without a PC editor, but very worth considering as the pulse for your fuzzy-effecty solo shows.

Probably the most unconventional thing I do is use the EHX Freeze or SuperEgo to hold samples of songs or voices or whatnot. It's really cool with the SuperEgo. I've tried putting the Digtech Drop and Luxe at the end of a chain, but they just sound like shit, the Luxe especially.
I've wanted to get some stuff like the Ravish or B/C9 and mess with those, but I'm afraid of them not working nicely and me having wasted money.

Yay bump...
My friend uses a C9 in the Superego loop and loves it...
Still using the El Cap for verb and RRR for boost...
I guess it was intended but the LFO from the CP-251 into the MF Delay controlling Time gets pretty fuckin nutzzz real quick... I used the Mackie the other day for a No-Input session, I'm sure they never thought peeps would treat them as an instrument...
