In all honesty, fuck the PT jr and get a bigger board dude. It's well worth it if you want the presets, dedicated tap tempo, and all the bells and whistles the x4 comes with. It's honestly worth the extra money and real-estate. Fuck buying from GC. They are going under and rightfully so. Let them burn without your money.

Idunno...I could put it on my PT1, but with as little as I honestly use delay the regular Flashback or Alter Ego will suit me just fine.

Well if you aren't a delay junkie like me then I guess it wouldn't make sense but in all honesty I would try and find a x4 to fuck around with. If you lived closer I would just say come plug into my board and fuck around with it and see what you think.

I wish I did dude, you have always had shit that I wanted to try out. That and giant amps that I envy. That dead stretch of I40 makes RDU seem so much further from Wilmington than it actually is...

I've got new delay, reverb and power supply incoming. Trinity (my second), Malekko 616 Dark (replacing a Carbon Copy cuz I needs trails) and the new DC Brick for my PT Mini.

The Trinity sounds good and is a great value. I'll let ya'll know what I think of the Malekko.

Awesome,, please do. I am gonna pick up a Trinity or Alter Ego from PGS tonight, but the 616 dark is still on my short list.

Pulled the trigger on a Trinity last night. Very pumped to try it out. Trying to sell a couple of things so I can pick up a delay (maybe just the regular Flashback) and a powersupply. Looked at the Joyo powerbrick thing, but may go for something more substantial/reliable if I can move a pedal or two.

Congrats duder. What are you trying to unload? I am about to free up a space on my board.

Supposed to be like an Echoplex, right? Haven't seen it on too many boards or heard much about it...seems to be overshadowed by the Echorec.

yea echoplex. i like how u can drive the delay line w/ the rec level knob, and the sound seems pretty cool overall. just wondering if anyone out there has one and their thoughts.

I know Darren has one and likes it but said it's too noisy to use for recording. It's built on the same platform as the echorec, but supposedly it's maybe not as well executed.

I'd like to pick up an echorec some day.

This is kind of a long shot, but since this is the doom sub forum there is a good chance someone out there can back me up on this. The Sunn Beta Lead has an awesome built in reverb effect. It's kinda tricky to use at first but once you figure it out it will transport you to some dark and cavernous realms. The main trick with this thing is to turn the channel gain all the way up, the reverb all the way up, and the channel volume all the way down (master to taste). The "gain" knob acts as a volume for the wet signal while the "volume" knob controls the dry. The way it's set up makes it kind of hard to use in a live setting but it's a rad sound.
