The latest Wolverine was better than expected. They certainly didn't skimp on the gore and killing. I just wanted all the ninjas to be The Hand.
Luke Cage needs a movie, preferably starring Erik LaRay Harvey (aka Purnsley on Boardwalk Empire).

it was alright. kinda dumb that they had wolvie throw the F-bomb twice, very dumb having him instantly falling in love with the rich chick instead of the awesome punk chick he should've gone for. bullet train fight, that was pretty cool. ninjas doing unnecessary gymnastics when jumping from one spot to another was cheesy as hell. silver samarai was very disappointing for me.

It adapted a lot from the first Wolverine comics (miniseries). The ninja shadow stalking shots were an obvious Frank Miller tribute, but definitely looked campy on screen. The mountain/bear part was the most by the book/unfuckedwith part of the adaptation. I liked that it had a little bit of the old chillin' in the woods thing, and some of his pissed off/fighting lines were the closest they've come to making him sound like the comic character yet. Viper was worse than the Silver Samurai, who at least looked decent, though the original character/history was completely thrown out for the movie.

It looks decent, enough? I dunno, it's still a big budget comic book movie. The last few I've wasted my time with have been getting to be the same thing over and over again.

Nice. Reminded me of why I never watch trailers though, it showed a bit too much. But it does look like it will be a cool flick, though maybe a tad too slick.
