I like to start off a show In a full tuxedo suit, then as the show progresses I remove an article of clothing every now and then until I'm rocking some sexy lingerie.

maybe an old hat.

what i'd like to do is the Michael Stipe MTV awards thing of having home-lettered shirts worn in layers, peeling one off so "PLEASE KILL ME" was replaced by "CONTINUOUS DERIVÉ" which was replaced by "CATS RULE" and so forth.

Or t-shirt and skinny jeans, aka what I often wear normally.

And a sweater since winter/since i...fell and ended up with conspicuous marks on my forearm.

Although I haven't played a show since August. :(

a dude in one of those men's fashion joints in detroit tried to sell us all like matching velour suits or some shit one time. i thought it was pretty funny. my homie just wanted some new jeans!

when i played in a death metal band a couple years back i usually showed up in a nice shirt and a tie. i got tired of everyone wearing makeup and spikey things thinking it looks cool.
now that i play random solo gigs whatever i put on in the morning.

I try to put on something nice, maybe a suit or at least a shirt. We made abstract pattern band shirts for one concert too. I really hate the pictures of the concert in my girlfriend's mother's dress with the green gimp mask now though. Phases.
I disapprove of bandmates who refuse to dress up. We're a stage act, come on, not just a bunch of everyday morons who play songs.

This is how I feel about it because I love dressing up. My goal with my next musical project is to dress like a time traveler (basically an industrial, bohemian, space-traveler). Not really original, but I really like the concept and the visual I have in mind for it.

One time I was trying to make the band I was in do themed shows with televisions playing some themed thing. One show was gonna be karate/kung fu/samurai visuals and another was going to be space stuff. They were too lazy to dress up for anything, though. So we only got to dress up for Halloween shows :grumpy:

My highschool band used to get cheerleader outfits from ones we were related to/ knew/ were sleeping with and we would wear the top with jeans. That seemed to get us alot of pussy.
