Definitely all the old disney movies, or wait, do boys like princesses at that age, or whatever, alladin was the shit. Also I second the Black cauldron and the land before time. And Mr Bean was great but i have serious bias there.

This has all given me massive nostalgia.
Except Black Cauldron, I either missed that or it didn't get an Australian release.
He's into most stuff....but cars and trucks and blokey things are his jam right now. Octonauts is a hit as well...actually that is a pretty cool show.

Iron Giant was great - that was one I loved watching with my kiddo.

You basically have to see Star Wars when you're that age, otherwise you'll never understand why it's so awesome to so many people.

Also, Pope, you have to show the The Rescuers Down Under. YOU'RE AUSTRALIAN YOU HAVE TO.

You're right. The time has come. I just got a used DVD set of ebay. It will blow his little mind.

I've never seen the rescuers...I'm gonna hafta research this.
We have a Ghibli box set at home, but I think he might be a bit young for shit like laputa and nausicaa (my personal faves). Pompoko (is that what it's called?) might be ok, tortoro should be fine.

Iron giant was a little sad at the end from memory.

Yeah, it has kind of a sad ending, but it turns around at the very end. I've got a soft spot for those kinds of movies. Go figure - I was kind of a melancholy kid...
