I like their 365 coffee (Early Morning Buzz). Seems like a good ratio of quality vs. price. Unless you wanna suggest some other type of readily available coffee, he asked hopefully…?

I also like them for salad dressing, and (belieb it or not) beer. Bread. 365 vitamins. They do have a few things I like.

Not true. The money has nothing to do with it. I can afford to shop at Whole Foods, but they are ridiculous on price, so why would I? Because I'm a blind moron consumer that doesn't know that half their shit isn't organic, is filled with GMO's and shipped from overseas???? WOW they got great stuff. Sure that 365 shit tastes good when it's shipped in from fucking China.

My friend/previous roommate worked there for years... jwar is spot on with his assessment from the shit she told me. She is now a manager at a local food co-op and says the stuff is twice as good and half the price. I wish she was still my roommate, she gets to take home whatever she wants at the end of the day. She came over to hang out with my wife and I and brought like 30 pears....

Yesterday I went to the vegetable market down the street that sells local ontario farmers produce (not organic) and bought enough zuchinni, swiss chard, potatoes, carrots onions and garlic to make a soup, total cost.... 7 bucks. That would have cost 20 at WF....

So yeah I do also shop at Walmart, especially now that they have cage free eggs $3.69, uncured applesmoked Oscar myers bacon $4.50, organic carrots 98c, organic celery 99c, and I got a regular head of broccoli from the Jolly Green Giant for dum dum dum 2.39 cents.

I don't know about your area but the Wal-Mart stores around here have the shittiest produce I've ever seen... Don't you have Kroger or something down there? Plus, fuck Wal-Mart.

I dont like whole foods for certain reasons, but as someone who works with organic produce, I can shed some light here. The price of broccoli lately has less to do with WF being dicks and more to do with the fact that a bunch/all of the organic farms are/were having a hard time with it. At my store (I work for Vitamin Cottage) we raised our price cap for broccoli a whole dollar, and we're still baaaaarely breaking even on it. Shit's EXPENSIVE right now.

I've drank plenty of Bustelo - at 2.50 a brick (sometimes less!) it's a really good deal, but it tastes like dirt. If you switch brands and then go back to Bustelo, you'll know what I mean. I guess this is the wrong thread to discuss coffee though.
