Not really, the show has always been about how does an emotionless serial killer deal with human interaction.

Human connection has always been the driving force of the show, every season. Whether it's Lumin, Brian, Miguel etc - Dex made a point to connect with these people. His mistakes are what killed his family.

Human connection isn't specific enough--you can see the attempt to reestablish a specifically familial connection in all the seasons post-family.

The problem is that it feels forced and temporary, because they only had the constraints of a single season (+/- a couple episodes) to work around people like Stiles, the imaginary brother, and Strahovski.

*Friendship. I mean.

This episode was okay, I liked it.

Definitely better than the last couple.

I still have yet to see any episodes from this new season. Gotta get on that.

Ray Donovan is like leftovers from Entourage mixed with dregs of The Departed.

It's fun, but jesus fuck they need to figure out what they're doing with Jon Voight.

As long as he keeps dancing in every episode, I'll keep watching.

Entourage was fun for a couple of seasons--who doesn't want to see a bro and his bros enjoying the highs and lows of the movie business?

Unfortunately, that idea really only works for a couple of seasons, and Entourage went on to have, like, six without ever really changing it up.

So far dexter Has been pretty meh.

Last night was great. I love how all my predictions/hopes for dex are coming about. Ray donovan is pretty good. I think it would be pretty cool if the dude screwing the married massage therapist flipped and beat her to death or some shit. If they dont kill off Jon voight soon im going to get annoyed. Also like....given showtimes penchant for getting total hotties on all their shows whats up with this one? Rays wife and daughter are like taking a trip to the humane society.
