i played tons of sports in my youth. soccer, basketball, football, baseball... ran cross country in 7th & 8th grade, had to quit to continue soccer in high school, wish i'd have stuck w/ running instead. love soccer just fucking hated our idiot prick varsity coach. would like to play indoor again...

i've also skiid & snowboarded for 25 years now.

and a buddy of mine has me hooked on nighttime badminton.

I referee women's flat track roller derby... does that count?

3D archery; you pretty much hike a course and shoot at foam effigies of animals. Get's you off the range, get's your heart rate up so that you can practice breathing when you are shooting. I guess the idea is that it's conditioning so that you can be more accurate when your adrenaline starts flowing for actually game hunting.

I played soccer for 3 years while I was in high school, but didn't have much time for it in college...would like to pick it back up now though. I also longboard casually, and I try to get up to Tahoe each year to go snowboarding with my bros

It also helps you to get better at shooting inclines and declines which is especially important with bowhunting from both the ground and from a tree stand. Distances usually aren't marked so it also helps you hone your skills with estimating range. I love outdoor 3D competitions.

I was alright at football, great at baseball, absolutely horrible at basketball.

Back to actual sports. I miss ILF.
