thats what i was thinking, once the unit dies its lifetime is over and so is the warranty. :excellent:

I want pictures of the power supply. Is this guy running it off a power transformer, or a charge pump, or just 9V?

From the second picture, it looks like one of those typical stomp box power jacks. If it's 9V, at least it's not dangerous.

That VOX cool Tube shit ran on 9v batteries... 12au7 though.

Was that VOX thing even using the tube or was the 9v to power an LED behind the tube + some solid state action

Maybe hes going to attach the leads from those gator clamps to his nips.....you know for analog warmth...thats what i would do.
