Its pretty fucking awesome. I mainly use the AOR though as the klipp isn't mine. I recently recapped it and its made all the difference to the tone. Real nice and punchy again. The klipp does run a real high plate voltage so god knows how long current production tubes are going to last...

Indeed. Especially since as stock it uses way too small SGR's!

Yea, I LOVE my AOR. I've always wanted to play through something older like a Klipp or a Supergroup though... Lately my GAS has been getting to me, and I want to setup a stereo rig with a GH50 or something, if I could find anyone selling one that is.

There is a GH50 on my craigslist for $450 - you may be able to get it for that price shipped since it's been relisted a couple of times and I think it's the one that sold for like $250 before I could pick it up like six months ago.

I found a few on the GC used section for a similar price, as well as a few more AORs on fleabay... But then I remembered I don't have space in my car to carry a stereo rig anywhere...

Yeah, my neighbor has an old Bedford that's all primer grey with a few cut and fill patches. It is the epitome of rape van. But I dig em. Cause those two vans just there aren't rape vans. They're boogie vans.
And that is a whole world of difference.

Yeah I'd love to be able to pull up to gigs in style. the one Ryan posted would be sweet too. I always dug vans with murals. Whatever happened to that?

I think the late 90s ricer revolution killed all the 70s poon that was to be had in airbrushing. I'm on my iPad, so posting an example is a pain in the arse right now, but have a look at current airbrush art for cars. It's disgusting. I mean, technically it is brilliant, but there are no naked Viking women, riding dragons and summoning lighting. That's just not cricket in my book.
