I just put an extra sheet over the top of my bed when I'm not in it.
When I want to go to sleep, I remove the extra sheet cat hair included.

I was only joking about that. Although, after I made this thread, I talked to my housemate about it and that's what he suggested. I asked and he did tell me it's OK to shoot his cat with a water gun though. I like the cat in my room, I just don't really want her on the bed.

Good idea, MEC, thanks. I might just do that. Although, I was thinking I could also just buy her a little cat bed to keep in my room. That way I can move it around so she can stay sleeping in the sun. I think she'd like that too. Then she may not wanna jump up on my bed so badly.

Yeah, given your user name, of course you're gonna say that.
Or how 'bout?
H) Shave and then eat the pussy.

This thread reminds me of "Invasion of the body snatchers"
"It's inevitable"
"just wash the linens more often"
"cats are sooooooo kewl"
"I can hear it scratching and purring outside my door at night"
It wants to consume your soul while you sleep.
Run while you still can.

SOunds more like you need to set boundaries with your roommate and or just close your bedroom door and lock it.

The cat is older, she's HIV positive, she can't open the door on her own, (she does still have excellent hearing and comes running when I do open the door, however)
... and her name is "Ned".

lol, AIDS cat.
Last I checked, most cats aren't great with doorknobs whether or not they are locked.

Mmm, not that funny.
Yeah we keep a spare sheet on top of our bed, which keeps the kitty litter and occasional barf and hairballs off the fine blanketsh.

Let the cat sleep on your bed, we all need friends and you don't know what it's going through. Find where she likes to sleep and put a towel there. Tesla fucking loves laying on towels, and just wash it every couple days.
edit: The FIV positive bit makes me contemplate my decision. I have met some cats with it it's really sad and things get really bad. I really hope the owner doesn't keep it around if it gets worse. As sad as it is euthanasia is a much kinder option than what it will lead to. Trust me, it can easily turn into the saddest thing you will ever experience.
wow I'm sad now.
