annnnnnnd because i have zero impulse control and love the Matty Shtuff i've had before i just ordered an Orangey.
anybody played with the Korg SyncKontrol app with it? does it dominate the output? i'm thinking about grabbing a Monotribe and laying them together. would be awesome to have them slaved to each other.
murrrrrrr?

Now when you finally get the tourbox, you'll have two Orange Boxes to play with. That should be interesting.

I'm also going to be doing a comparison video of the Mad Doctor Stutter and the EQD Hummingbird. They're similar but not the exact same effect, so it should be interesting. Of course, stupid me, I forgot my EHX Freeze...

My time has sadly come to a close with this TourBox, and I feel like I just didn't get enough time to love it. And that's because I didn't get enough time to love it. I was so freaking busy with school and work. But I did manage to get demos of all the pedals, so I'll be putting that together whenever I have time.
Some thoughts off the top of my head:
-I do indeed want a Mad Doctor. I have a Hummingbird, which is great, but I realize I really want an on/off switch and not just a square tremolo. Its a small but important difference between the two.
-Orange Cycle is fun, especially with another pedal. I don't know if I would have much use for it in if I were in a live setting, but its still fun to play around with.
-Lazer Fuzz was probably my favorite of the three dirt pedals in the box. Its so simple to use, but I really enjoyed playing it.
-Blasteroid was cool, but very quirky. Not really my tastes. I tried playing with a BAT Pharaoh running through into it and uh...sometimes it didn't work. It was an interesting experiment. So maybe you'll have to put it in front of another fuzz pedal and not after. I think its worth some time to explore for someone else.
-Death Mangler was very interesting. It seemed like a more tameable 4545, and I liked it most with the Z all the way to the right.
I guess I'm not much of a square wave/bit fuzz kind of guy, so I didn't fall in love with the dirt pedals. They sound great, and if I had a trashy sound kind of band I'd totally pick one of them up. But as of now, I'm more of a DESTROYTHEEARTHWITHTHISFUZZ kind of guy and less laser guns. But man, those laser gun sounds are cool.

Thanks, wdinc01, looking forward to hearing your clips.
I should say, the Blasteroid is a bit temperamental, but well worth messing with. When dialed in properly, it's astoundingly great.

Uh? Bump.
I'd just like to remind everybody that the Blasteroid needs an isolated power supply, it can't be daisy chained.
Also, please try the Blasteroid both with and without a buffer placed in front of it.
With the buffer it sounds more "normal", without the buffer it sounds more "weirdly filtery".

We're getting first mixes of our next album back currently... I will see what i can do about getting some bass tracks split off to show what sounds we got. Our bassist used the blasteroid as his only dirt on the album.
