Ozzfest '08 with my dad. I was in eighth grade... I think. It was so awesome and fun but I think little me was expecting sabbath and got 80's ozzy songs (that are good in their own right but I was sabbath obsessed at this time) and zakk wylde pinch harmonic take on war pigs.

My first concert was the Ramones in Seattle. '95. I was three. My dad took me. It's one of the few memories I have from the ages of 6 and under.
The first concert I recall being fully aware of was Weird Al when I was in 4th grade at the Bronco bowl. That also totally ruled.
First "club" show was Against Me! and The Epoxies at Trees when I was in like...6th grade? That was fun too.
Also, I was totally also at Ozzfest in '08. My friend ended up getting drunk during Lamb of God so I had to leave before BLS and Ozzy because he was puking.

mine was live, pj harvey & buffalo tom, i think in '95 but might've been 6 or 7, not sure, just remember that my parents let me go with a friend's older sibling and his friends which of course turned into a bunch of underage drinking & driving soon as we pulled away from my house. no i did not participate. we missed buffalo tom because of it and then one kid my age ran off into the crowd wasted & it took forever to find him at the end of the night.

that's awesome. i've never seen any of those three & would've loved to.
wfs1234 wrote:My first concert was in 03 maybe? I saw Minus the Bear and These Arms are Snakes. It was a great show.
minus the bear are dicks about tours, they always arrange a full lineup and never let locals open. finding that out made me like them less.

It is kinda shitty. But, as a result, I saw The Antlers and MtB.

Hmm...first real concert? Probably Korn/Rob Zombie in '99. Didn't stay for Korn, though.
Though, my mom did drag me to see All4One at the state fair when I was a younger kid.

The one I consider my first actual show would be Dan Deacon. All in all, I think it was a good first time.

i saw both of those acts too but later on, unless i'm remembering things incorrectly, & not together... off to look up when rubberneck came out...

edit: wow... maybe i'm totally off... know i saw toadies twice back when they were touring for rubberneck, but as headliners both times...

KISS and W.A.S.P. (opened). I went to see W.A.S.P. but what I remember most was how loud KISS was. I had no idea anything could get that loud. I've been to louder since but it still left an impression on me.

Oh man! Dan Deacon is probably one of the most fun performers I've ever seen. Enough to see him twice
