For real yo... just let the cat out of the bag. Who cares if you're the first to write a bad review. It's called an opinion. If everybody had the same opinion the World would suck.
My guess,

Yeah I wasn't too impressed and thought the pedals were overpriced.

But again, I feel like this is just kind of drumming up interest in the fact that this bro didn't like this pedal, which is never a unique scenario and very rarely deserves its own thread.
So, while it's adorable that we've got a guy who wants to go against the grain and hate on a pedal that doesn't get much mention 'round these parts, and isn't built by one of "our" builders... I think it deserves little more than a pat on the head--rather than 1,000 odd words trying to get around saying "I thought pedal X was overhyped."
Everyone has their tastes. Own them, don't dance around it.

Okay; to clarify, I do believe that there is a line in which pedals just become ridiculously overpriced; but hey, if you are a builder and the only clientele you want to deal with is doctors and lawyers (good luck with that), who am I to argue.

Some people only see investment potential in musical gear. Fuck those people.
I do believe that every piece of gear has a voice. It's just a matter of finding that voice and making it work. If you find it's voice and it doesn't work for you; move on without regard to what the rest of the flock says.

There's no such thing as a bad pedal, only a bad application of a pedal.

Truly. Thought it would be a fun/funny comment on flock mentality. As I said before - it was more of a rhetorical question and just something I found interesting - writing a bad review of a much loved item. Regardless of what, why, who, etc.
So I'll hopefully put an end to this silliness by just giving you what you want:
I traded into a Spaceman Gemini III the other day. I was excited. I got it and found that neither side sounded particularly good to me, the controls were limited in their useable functionality range, and it's voice was awkward and lacking in harmonics and overtones - something that I like in a fuzz. I think the fuzz itself sounds flat and is not complex or interesting sounding, and that is has a strangely copious amount of bass which sounds muddy and out of place. I tried it with several guitars, pickups, amps - and realized that I wouldn't ever use it on anything. The end.
Im sure it works great for someone else and that someone will take the guts out and install it in their guitar or something because they love it so much. I know of one for sale, if you're interested.
