I'm one of 6 in the office today. My boss didn't even come to work. Just me, my fiance, and 4 others

I don't even technically work in the office anymore and I came in to help with a project that - big suprise - is not done enough for me to review

Be safe dude and don't wait to leave

Last fall I almost didn't make it home
had to try a ton of back roads

Thanks dude, I appreciate it. I let my fiance drive because she's 1000x better than I. We took a backroad to get to work that we assume will be flooded tonight when we get off, so we will have to take the big main road

I tried to leave for work this morning but the military police told me to turn around. BEST excuse for missing a day EVER

I haven't left bed yet, so I don't even know if it's raining right now. Apparently last time we had a hurricane (tropical storm by the time it his us) my parents lost power for 3 days. So, shit might end up crazy up here.

Honestly, I'm kind of excited. Huge storms are mad fun, but maybe I'm just a lunatic with no owned property to get damaged.

was supposed to be off today, but that's in jeopardy now. may be a blessing in disguise, though... if i go in today, i can crash in the break room tonight and not have to fight the worst of the storm to get in to work tomorrow.

We get to leave whenever now apparently, but my fiance volunteered us to leave at 3 instead of earler.

Richmond is raining with slight wind but overall it's a pretty average storm but we are suppose to be getting it til tomorrow night so maybe it'll add up after awhile. I know my neighborhood is flooded due to old aqueducts.

Thats good to hear.
I ended up just calling my work last night and saying fuuuuck this. I work for a catering company driving shitty vans so, no thanks on that.
