So here is the deal I have a post it up that says
Operation "These Dudes"
My Operation "Zero Waitlist" has always had my list hovering at 100
I'd mail out 10 and there'd be 13 added to the list.
On the list of "these dudes" are the following:
Volume IV
Theavondon (thanks for that jaywalking delay!)
Grrface
Joe Gress
Hazelwould
James Hommerson
Eric !
And D.o.S. w/ a question mark
I believe you expressed interest in the Bluebeard and in celebration of like minded barbarians I will promise that each of you will have the opprotunity given before dec 31st to purchase a Bluebeard if you are not given this opprotunity by dec 31st 2012....
Your pedal will be free
If you are into this post here and send me an email with
"Operation These Dudes" on the subject line.
Please include your ILF handle so I can keep it straight.
This means that all the cats in front of you in line will be taken care of and they will thank you.
And I thank you
I often would spend too much time OCDing things like packaging or super packing something or using 40-50 $0.05 stamps on a package and its so its personalized but I can't email and talk to each dude for 5 hours as I am prone to do because I learn sooo much (shout out to DeltaPheonix for the midi addiction)
This personalizes my end goal.
I love all my customers (ok there was one dude in VA that kinda sucked another in TX and my old roomate R***)
This pushes me to get organized.
This lets me prioritize/stay off of Facebook/surfing you tube for thrash videos/bst-ing
Aaaaand if I get a shit-ton of pedals out then my wife will let me buy a Moog Minotaur for Xmas/january birthday.
This is going to be more fun than a Red Fang video (and if you don't know now you do)
It starts now.
PS
Thanks for listening and while the Bluebeard may sound better/worse to people on certain instruments or rigs its all alchemy and I want people to try it so I guess in 2013 once I am past the prototype phase w the Siamese Bluebeard (etched by Dan) and standard Bluebeard will be tourboxing (is that the term?)
Ok I guess it didn't start then
Cause I typed more.....
I will refrain from reading this thread until tomorrow otherwise I won't get squat done.
It starts now.

Sonny,
I would like to apologize for my previous post. It wasn't meant to be disparaging ,but at best it was an over-simplification of the facts. I normally don't mention other builders at all, but I didn't realize that you were still in production. I've spoken to you on the phone before (back in my Tone Factor days) and you came across like a geniune stand up guy, so I'm sorry if I made you feel the need to defend yourself. I have no doubt that it's a killer pedal, and I wish you all the continued success in the world.

To get back to the OP often for guitar demos I refer people to recordings
Guitar-
The Hidden Hand (into model T's)
Sunn o)))). (Into model T's)
Baroness (the red album was 70or90% Bluebeard on rhythm into I believe a twin)
Juan from torche on bomb notes
Bass-
Mastodon I sold him one before leviathan but as years went by he has amassed quite a binder of muffs if you don't like the Bluebeard look at his board for alternates
The Hidden Hand (Bluebeard #001 into an SVT and a model T into an 810 and 215 he also used an original unidrive at times with Gibson Grabbers)
There are a plethora of other people but I only name drop people that have given me express permission to chat things up and I'm on 3hours of sleep right now.....
@bRad no worries, fluid information is often stated as fact on the Internet.

For etching I recommend DanDubbleEwe who posted earlier on this thread.
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=5629I am not sure what his rates are for for various services but his portfolio is fresh and you don't have to deal w acid or those pesky fumes.

He does awesome work. I contacted him about a month ago, just been broke and we got shows coming up. Gotta have the Bluebeard!
